you can check this yourself. You can put the yellow cable behind the engine on the water-cooling system over your carburators on ground ( frame ) . Then must the instrument go to " hot-engine", if your key stands on ingnition-on. If the instrument shows cold too, look at the fuses and cables, you have power. If this all okay your meter ist defect.
