| Small amperages up to approx. 2.5
ampere (back and parking light, interior lighting, control lights...):
0.5 or 0.75 mm.
Middle amperages up to approx. 8 ampere (turn signal, windshield wiper, horn, headlight): 1.5 mm. Collecting lines up to approximately 16 ampere (common line for both headlights): 2.5 mm. Higher performances up to 20 ampere (generator): 4.0 mm. Up to approximately 40 ampere: 6.0 mm. Beside the electrical always also the mechanical firmness must be sufficient! Therefore are stronger cables than electrically necessary possibly to begin. Also the isolation must have been up to to thermal and chemical influences! F. SACH
